Advanced Teens/TAXI SQUAD
For experienced improvisors. Age restrictions vary by class.
Taxi Squad training further develops skills learned in ComedySportz High School and Middle School Leagues. Each class focuses on an improv-related skill and ends with a short public performance, often during the Half Time intermission of a ComedySportz pro-show.
Taxi Squad workshops may be taken concurrently with High School or Middle School League.
Prerequisite: Completion of one ComedySportz class or instructor approval.

TOPIC:"Improv Slanguage"
Building a stronger character. Supporting a scene. Recreating a time period. Satirizing a literature or movie style.
This class will zoom in on how words are used throughout history, and HOW we say something is just as important as what we say. We will look at many different styles for scenework and play plenty of word games, too. Bring a notebook.
