Sky Orbison and the Earth Protectors

We're learning to take care of the earth!

Brett is a school presenter who just doesn't have a passion for the topic, Reducing, Reusing and Recycling. A visitor from the 23rd Century, Sky Orbison, kindles Brett's fire and helps get the message out to school kids - taking care of the earth is fun!

Sky Orbison and the Earth Protectors is a 33 minute play with songs that's just perfect for the K-5 crowd.  Written and produced in partnership with METRO, Sky Orbison will entertain and educate - there's time for interactive Q & A - and the whole production fits comfortably in a 45-minute assembly slot. As the producers of ComedySportz, ComedySportz4Kidz, New Canadian Kid and Frozen Carrots, we get it - theatre for young people can be smart and funny - even for adults.

Brett and Sky are played by John Dieffenderfer, Angela Michtom, Herb Spice, Manuel Hall and Amy Gray.

Book and lyrics by Andrew Berkowitz
Production, Stage Direction, Sound Design and Original Music by Patrick Short
Choreography by Mary Pat McCoy
Properties by Amy Gray
Executive Producer:  Freda Sherburne for Metro Solid Waste and Recycling
