The Screaming Mee-Mees, Portland’s only ongoing musical improv comedy
troupe, was formed in Summer 2003 by Betse Green and members of ComedySportz Portland. The group performs often at After Hours at the ComedySportz Arena.
Tour and Festival appearances include:

Championship in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin 2004
- Southern Improv Festival
 in New Orleans, LA,
(where the host committee voted the Mee-Mees' fully-improvised rock
opera the Best Show of the Festival) 2004
- Seattle Festival of Improv Theatre, 2005
- Chicago Improv Festival, 2005
- Southern Improv Festival, October 2005
