Our Oregon Story
The State of Oregon's "Brand Oregon" initiative is asking
Oregon businesses to tell their Oregon story, and ComedySportz has a
great
Oregon story to tell.
Eleven years ago our founders, Patrick Short
and Ruth Jenkins, came to Oregon with the dream of starting an improvisational
comedy theatre that would be a part of the community – giving
laughter to our fans, and donating our time (and some of our profits)
to make our home a better
place.
In Oregon, Pat and Ruth found a home, and a home for ComedySportz. Oregon
is a state that says "Yes!" to business, to ideas, to creativity and
to laughter.
The new Oregon slogan is "We Love Dreamers," and we think
that describes ComedySportz perfectly – a family of performers
who have been able to realize their dreams thanks to the support we've
received from our Oregon
(and Southwest Washington) fans.
